Balcony Safety Nets in Nellore
MJR Invisible Grills installs balcony safety nets in Nellore for homes where an open balcony is a fall risk — particularly on higher floors or where the existing railing height isn't enough on its own. The net is fitted across the full balcony opening, giving a physical barrier that still lets air and light through.
Overview
What Is Balcony Safety Nets?
A balcony safety net is a UV-stabilised mesh net fixed across the balcony opening, from floor to ceiling or railing to ceiling, anchored into the surrounding structure. It's a passive barrier — there's nothing to operate or remember to close — which is why it's a common choice for balconies used by children, elderly family members or pets.

Local Conditions
Balcony Safety Nets in Nellore: What Changes Locally
About Nellore
Nellore lies on the Penna river a short distance inland from the Bay of Bengal, in the belt of coastal Andhra that takes the brunt of the cyclone season.
Proximity to the coast puts salt in the air, and salt-laden humidity is the single harshest thing an outdoor metal fitting in Nellore has to survive. Add the wind loads that come with the cyclone season and both the material grade and the anchoring become more important here than almost anywhere else we work.
Why It Matters Here
Coastal wind means a net has to be tensioned and anchored for gust loading, not just fitted flat across the opening — a slack net in Nellore loses its shape far faster than one inland.
Covered across Nellore: Dargamitta, Magunta Layout, Balaji Nagar, Vedayapalem, Stonehousepet, Ramalingapuram, Kondayapalem and all surrounding areas.
What We Check on a Nellore Installation
- Salt-laden coastal air is the harshest condition we work in, so material grade is chosen for corrosion first.
- Cyclone-season wind loading means anchor points are specified for gusts, not just for steady load.
- Elevations facing the sea breeze get more exposure than sheltered sides, so the two are assessed separately.

Why Choose Us
Why Nellore Chooses MJR Invisible Grills
Proximity to the coast puts salt in the air, and salt-laden humidity is the single harshest thing an outdoor metal fitting in Nellore has to survive. Add the wind loads that come with the cyclone season and both the material grade and the anchoring become more important here than almost anywhere else we work. A safety net is only as good as its anchoring — loose or poorly spaced fixing points are the most common failure point. We anchor into sound structural points around your balcony opening and check tension across the full net before finishing the job.

FAQs
Balcony Safety Nets in Nellore — FAQs
Is a safety net better than an invisible grill for balconies?
Both provide fall protection; nets cover the full height of the opening and involve no visible wire lines, while invisible grills keep the view slightly more open. Which suits you depends on the balcony and what matters more to you — we can talk through both during the site visit.
Will the net sag over time?
Some settling is normal after installation; we tension it correctly at fitting, and it can be re-tensioned later if needed.
Can I still see through the net clearly?
You can see through it, though a net is naturally less transparent than an invisible grill's thin wires.
Does the net block rain or wind?
No — it's an open mesh, so air, light and rain pass through as before.
Will salt air near the coast corrode the fittings in Nellore?
That is the main thing to plan for here. Salt-laden humidity attacks ordinary fixings quickly, so we specify stainless-steel wire and corrosion-resistant fittings for Nellore installations and check the exposure of the particular elevation before recommending a grade.
Do you work across Nellore town and the surrounding areas?
Yes. Tell us your locality — Dargamitta, Magunta Layout, Balaji Nagar, Vedayapalem, Stonehousepet, Ramalingapuram or Kondayapalem — and we will confirm the visit. Being near the coast, we will also talk through the material grade that suits your elevation.
