Box Cricket Nets in Nellore
MJR Invisible Grills installs box cricket nets in Nellore for fully enclosed practice and play setups — the kind used by turf facilities, cricket academies and commercial box cricket venues. Unlike an open practice net, a box cricket setup encloses the playing area on all sides, including overhead, so the game stays contained within a defined space.
Overview
What Is Box Cricket Nets?
A box cricket net is a fully enclosed netting structure — sides and roof — built around a playing area, commonly used for indoor-style or turf box cricket formats. It requires a more substantial frame and netting specification than an open backyard practice net, since it's built for continuous commercial or semi-commercial use.

Local Conditions
Box Cricket Nets in Nellore: What Changes Locally
About Nellore
Nellore lies on the Penna river a short distance inland from the Bay of Bengal, in the belt of coastal Andhra that takes the brunt of the cyclone season.
Proximity to the coast puts salt in the air, and salt-laden humidity is the single harshest thing an outdoor metal fitting in Nellore has to survive. Add the wind loads that come with the cyclone season and both the material grade and the anchoring become more important here than almost anywhere else we work.
Why It Matters Here
Practice nets near the coast take steady onshore wind, so the frame and the tie-off points matter as much as the netting itself.
Covered across Nellore: Dargamitta, Magunta Layout, Balaji Nagar, Vedayapalem, Stonehousepet, Ramalingapuram, Kondayapalem and all surrounding areas.
What We Check on a Nellore Installation
- Salt-laden coastal air is the harshest condition we work in, so material grade is chosen for corrosion first.
- Cyclone-season wind loading means anchor points are specified for gusts, not just for steady load.
- Elevations facing the sea breeze get more exposure than sheltered sides, so the two are assessed separately.

Materials & Features

Why Choose Us
Why Nellore Chooses MJR Invisible Grills
Proximity to the coast puts salt in the air, and salt-laden humidity is the single harshest thing an outdoor metal fitting in Nellore has to survive. Add the wind loads that come with the cyclone season and both the material grade and the anchoring become more important here than almost anywhere else we work. A box cricket setup is a bigger structural job than a backyard net — the frame has to support an overhead net section reliably, not just the sides. We plan the framing and netting specification around how the facility will actually be used, whether that's a turf venue or an academy running daily sessions.

FAQs
Box Cricket Nets in Nellore — FAQs
What's the difference between this and a regular cricket net?
A box cricket setup is fully enclosed, including a roof section, and uses heavier framing built for frequent commercial or academy use — a regular practice net is typically open or three-sided.
Can this be installed on artificial turf?
Yes, box cricket nets are commonly installed alongside turf setups; we plan the framing around your turf area.
Is this suitable for a commercial venue with daily use?
Yes, that's the primary use case — the framing and netting are specified for frequent, ongoing use rather than occasional practice.
Do you handle the size and layout planning?
Yes, we assess your space and expected usage during the site visit and plan the frame and netting layout accordingly.
Will salt air near the coast corrode the fittings in Nellore?
That is the main thing to plan for here. Salt-laden humidity attacks ordinary fixings quickly, so we specify stainless-steel wire and corrosion-resistant fittings for Nellore installations and check the exposure of the particular elevation before recommending a grade.
Do you work across Nellore town and the surrounding areas?
Yes. Tell us your locality — Dargamitta, Magunta Layout, Balaji Nagar, Vedayapalem, Stonehousepet, Ramalingapuram or Kondayapalem — and we will confirm the visit. Being near the coast, we will also talk through the material grade that suits your elevation.
